New Jersey Math Teacher Salary Expectations

It has been found by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development that in 2012 the average of math teacher salaries in New Jersey was $85,770. The median was 5.7% less at $80,900. Salaries at the 25th percentile averaged $60,670, which were likely entry-level. Salaries at the 75th percentile, which were likely experienced-level, averaged $104,310. This was a difference of nearly 42%. There was, however, a noticeable difference in salaries by location, as can be seen below:
